Members: Larry Nelson, Chris Deisinger, Oscar Bloch, B.J. Moghadam, John Garvin, David Poklinkoski, Jim Mapp, Paul Meier, Greg Bollour, Steve Brick, Marc Looze, Charlie Higley, Preston Schutt, Steve Hinike, Michael Vickerman, Joe Luetmer, Jeanne Hoffman
  1. The Minutes were approved subject to a change on Page 2 to insert “40” vs. “90” megawatts.
  1. The committee edited a resolution declaring the City of Madison’s interest in taking a leadership role in promotion of sustainable energy by promoting both energy efficiency and renewable energy for the City of Madison Facilities and the Community.

Jeanne Hoffman requested Chris Deisinger assist in the preparation of a report which would accompany the proposed resolution.

Steve Hinike requested that the City participate in the Dane County Energy Consortium.

Michael Vickerman recommended that there be strong support for the Energy Tax Credit for Renewable Energy.

  1. The next meeting of the Energy Task Force Utility Subcommittee was established for 3:00 p.m., May 18, 2004, with the location to be determined. There will be a joint meeting of the Energy Task Force in the month of June.
  1. Meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
