MISSION
Consider & make recommendations on ongoing issues of operation/design/safety/maintenance/use of downtown area; provide advice on development/implementation/revisions to plans for improvement in the downtown area; consider and make recommendations on new or proposed ord/res re: planning in the downtown area; or impacting upon the ongoing operation/safety/maintenance/enjoyment/ use of/scheduling and operating of special events in the downtown area; coordinate communications among the city/downtown businesses/downtown residents & students/MATC, The Overture Center, the UW, and members of the general public regarding the above duties and issues of concern in the downtown area.
