MISSION
Develop/recommend to Plan Comm., Transit & Parking Comm., Ped/Bike/Motor Vehicle Comm. & Bd. of Public Works policies on elements of long-range transp. planning for all modes incl. but not limited to transit, parking, pedestrian, bicycle & motor vehicles, & special initiatives involving integration of various subj. under jurisdiction of aforementioned bodies for purpose of providing for safe efficient & economical movement of persons/goods in the city and metropolitan area consistent with the com's mission to support the city's distinct & quality neighborhoods where people will want to live/work/do business/learn/play by providing comfortable/safe/efficient transportation. (Title of body changed from commission to committee per Sec. 33.14(7)- 8-1-09.
