MISSION
Reviews agency proposals for provision of senior services and recommends a budget to the commission; evaluates provisions for agency compliance with the Purchase of Service contracts relating to senior services, and reports the committee's findings to the commission; coordinates funding and programs with the Dane County Commission on Aging; reviews proposed legislation to determine its impact on the senior citizen population, and recommends revisions to proposed legislation as may be related to the health, welfare, security and safety of senior citizens; conducts hearings at which citizens may discuss concerns, problems and needs of senior citizens.
