MISSION
Management & operation of the Water Utility. The Board shall keep books of account in the manner/form prescribed by the Public Service Comm which shall be open to the public. The Board shall have management/supervision of the Water Utility & all matters connected herewith subject to the general control/supervision of the Water Utility Board by the Mayor & Council. The Council shall exercise supervision by enacting ordinances governing the Board's operation & approving contracts for the Water Utility as it does for other depts. The Board shall have the general power/authority to make rules/regulations for the management of said Utility as it shall from time to time find necessary for the safe, economical & efficient management & protection of the Water Utility...
