Share your ideas for the 2015 City Budget

Last year's input from a variety of community sources was very valuable as we crafted the 2014 budget. We chose 'A Healthy and Safe Community' as a theme for the 2015 budget.

I would like to know what you would suggest as improvements in your neighborhood and city wide. It's your ideas that will assist us in moving forward in creating a vision and developing ideas for all city departments.

Madison Public Library's Summer Reading Clubs

Last year over 9,600 youths participated in Madison Public Library Kids Summer Reading Club (grades PreK-6) or Teen Summer Reading Club (grades 6-12). Our summer reading clubs prevent learning loss by keeping kids reading over the summer, and they're just one of the fun things happening in our libraries for kids, teens (and adults!) this summer.

The market is envisioned as the anchor of a dynamic food district with a mix of food aggregation, wholesale, and retail uses. It will become the epicenter of our region's food system.
