CITY OF MADISON - Metro Transit

ST. MARYS HOSPITAL EMPLOYEE PASS

The St. Marys Employee Pass is valid on all Metro buses, with the exception of special event shuttle service.

St. Mary's employees need to stop in the Human Resources office to enroll in the program.

Here's how the program works:

  •

Employee pays an annual $5 fee to enroll.

  •

When boarding, employee present St. Marys ID badge before sliding pass through  magnetic card reader on bus farebox.

  •

Employee rides Metro Transit for free - St. Marys covers entire cost of program.

Program Notes:

• $5 fee for lost pass replacement

• Pass is valid for one year.

• Passes not valid on special event shuttles such as Badger games, Kohl Center events, etc.

• Do not laminate pass.

Paratransit Benefit:

Pass program fully covers the cost of paratransit rides. If you suffer from a temporary or permanent illness that does not allow you to drive or get to a bus stop, Metro's Paratransit service will pick you up at your doorstop, deliver you to St. Marys, and then transport you home at the end of your shift.

Please see HR for additional details about this benefit.

Guaranteed Ride Home:

Three free cab vouchers will be given to participants on an annual basis as a safety net guarantee, to be used in emergencies when transit service is not available.
