Bus Lines “In Motion” Poetry 2012 Competition
Winners Announced
Metro Transit and Madison Arts Commission is looking for talented high school students to submit their very own poetry to potentially be displayed on Metro buses all across the Madison area!
All poetry submissions must follow this year’s theme of “In Motion,” and be between three to five lines, including an optional title. Write about your experiences, feelings, observations, anything!
To showcase the talent of Madison’s young people, the chosen winners will have their poems displayed in Metro buses for a whole year and have the opportunity to workshop with Madison’s Poets Laureate!
Poets are able to submit up to three poems along with their submission form by November 1, 2012. To submit, please visit the Bus Line’s webpage.
