METRO FOLLOWS REGULAR SERVICE ON CAPITOL SQUARE
Wednesday, July 1

Concerts on the Square has been postponed until Thursday, July 2.

Buses will follow regular service around the Capitol Square on Wednesday.

Buses will follow the Capitol Loop Detour on Thursday, July 2 from 3 PM until the end of service due to the rescheduled concert.

ROUTE 1 DETOUR: Construction
Starts Thursday, July 2

Starting Thursday, July 2, Route 1 will detour due to the closing of the "off ramp" from westbound Campus Dr. onto Highland Ave.

Buses will not serve Highland Ave. or University Ave. west of Breese Terrace during the detour.

This detour is expected to last three weeks.

CAPITOL LOOP DETOUR: Art Fair on the Square
Friday, July 10; Starts at 3 PM - Sunday, July 12

Due to Art Fair on the Square, buses follow the Capitol Loop Detour starting Friday, July 10 at 3 PM through Sunday, July 12.

Buses operate one block from the Capitol Square on Doty, Webster, Dayton and Fairchild streets.

Service will return to the Capitol Square on Monday, July 13.

FIXED-ROUTE: Holiday Schedules

Saturday, July 4

On Saturday, July 4, Routes 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 30, 32, 36, 40, 50, 51, 63, 67 and 68 operate Holiday Schedules.

These are the only routes that will operate on the Independence Day holiday.

The Metro Customer Service Center will be open from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM.

PARATRANSIT: Standing Rides Canceled

Saturday, July 4

All standing and long term assignment paratransit rides will be canceled on Saturday, July 4.

Paratransit passengers must schedule casual rides to travel on the holiday.

The Metro Customer Service Center will be open from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM.

SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS COMING

TO GO INTO EFFECT AUGUST 23

Service improvements are designed to restore service that has been cut in previous
years, improve schedules where there are service gaps, ease overcrowding, better distribute
service and improve on-time performance.

Service improvements will go into effect on Sunday, August 23. Updated Ride Guides and System Maps will be available in the middle of August.

The closest bus stop to the Memorial Union is stop ID # 0009 (normally a Late Night stop) located across Langdon St. from the Memorial Union near the crosswalk.

Route 85 does not serve Dayton St. east of Park St. or northbound Lake St. during this time. This detour is expected to last through July.

The eastbound bus stop on University Ave. at Farley Ave. (ID #2465) is closed to all routes using Campus Dr. due construction.

Passengers are directed to board at University Ave. at Franklin St. (ID #2957).

Routes 8, 11, & 37 that travel on "old" University still serve this stop.

A temporary stop is available on Main St. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (in front of Starbucks). On weekends and holidays, a temporary stop for westbound Route 7 will be available on King St. at Main St.
