downtown/uw campus detours

Route 80
Due to the Crazylegs event, Route 80 will significantly detour from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 30. The Memorial Union, Observatory Dr., Walnut St., Highland Ave., and Lot 60 will not be served. Buses will operate on University Ave./ Johnson St., Campus Dr. and University Bay Dr. Catch the bus at open stops along the detoured route.


Downtown Detours

Due to the Crazylegs Classic event, Routes 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 will detour in the downtown area on Saturday, April 30. Please plan ahead for delays throughout the morning.

On Wednesday, May 11, Metro Transit and the City of Madison Transit and Parking Commission will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. to discuss proposed increases to certain Metro fare items.

Proposed fares to go into effect this Fall.

Note: Metro’s cash fare is not proposed to increase.

Photo I.D. Required for ASM Student Bus Pass ID

To help prevent fraudulent use of unlimited ride passes, please be prepared to present a Wiscard upon driver request.

ID’s are NOT required to use 31-day passes, 10-ride cards, or to board FREE Routes 80-84 on the University of Wisconsin campus. Check the back of your pass to verify whether there is a work/school ID requirement.
