ENGAGED COUPLE MEETS ON METRO BUS

Metro Transit bus riders Ashley and Ash meet while riding a Metro bus. Four years ago, Ashley was riding the bus to her job at Potbelly’s restaurant at East Towne Mall.

She was seated in the front area and a person with a disability boarded that needed her seat. She moved to an open seat further back on the bus and sat down next to Ash. The driver made an announcement that Ashley did not hear so she asked her seatmate to repeat the driver’s comments.

Ash was more than happy to strike up a conversation with Ashley and they started talking. They discovered they had a friend in common and a few days later exchanged phone numbers through that friend.

Four years later they are engaged and planning their wedding and life together. To celebrate their chance meeting, Ashley and Ash decided to have their engagement pictures taken on a Metro Bus.

Congratulations and best wishes for your future Ashley and Ash. Metro Transit is happy to have played a part in bringing you together!
