Marathon Detours

Due to marathon events, Metro service is disrupted Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27.

Various detours occur throughout the weekend. Please plan ahead for delays and disruptions throughout the service area.

Saturday, may 26

Metro buses will be detouring all day Saturday, with more extensive detouring beginning at 6:10 p.m.

ROUTES 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8

Start of Service - 6:10 p.m.

Routes do not serve the Capitol Square. Board on State St. or at the "Special Event" stops one block off the Square.

Due to street closures, Metro cannot serve the Capitol Square, State St., University Ave., Johnson St., Gorham St. or Campus Dr.

Buses detour via Highland, Regent and W. Washington Ave. North and southbound detours are different in the Capitol area.

ROUTE 80
6:10 p.m. -  9:45 a.m. on Sunday

Route 80 is unable to serve Walnut St., Observatory Dr., or Park St.

Buses detour via Campus Dr.

SUNDAY, MAY 27

Metro buses will be detouring from E. Johnson, E. Gorham and in the Downtown area until 3:10 p.m. on Sunday.

Start of Service - 3:10 p.m.

Routes detour in the Downtown/ Capitol area.

ROUTES 2 & 5
Start of Service - 3:10 p.m.

Routes 2 and 5 will use E. Washington Ave., to First St. to get back to regular route. During the race ALL outbound Route 2 trips travel up Fordem/ N. Sherman to the North Transfer Point.

Inbound Route 2 trips leaving the transfer point will detour via Packers and Pennsylvania Ave.
