Affects all Downtown Routes

Sunday, November 9

Due to the Madison Marathon Fall Race, many routes will be detouring throughout the day on Sunday, November 9. Please see chart below for specific detour information and maps.

Please note: Due to the large number of stops involved, not all locations will have detour signage posted. Please check maps online or contact Metro’s customer service center at (608) 266-4466 for more information.

Also, plan ahead for potential routing changes and delays throughout our entire service area during the event. Buses will operate as efficiently as possible.

Significant detours are expected to end around 3:00 PM. However, Routes 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 will continue to follow the Capitol Loop Detour until the end of service on Sunday, November 9 (see map).
