AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP
UW Transportation Services offers free bus passes to all UW employees. These passes allow employees to ride for free on all Metro Transit routes (excluding special event shuttles).
All employees paid through UW Payroll excluding graduate assistants and student hourly positions are eligible for the pass. This includes faculty, academic staff, classified employees, post docs, and LTEs. Emeriti faculty and staff are eligible for the free bus pass.
Employees from authorized affiliates are also eligible for the bus pass, including UW Hospital, Wisconsin Alumni Association, UW Foundation, Wisconsin Historical Society and WARF.

* Students, faculty, and staff who need a new or replacement ID card must present some form of personal photo identification such as a driver's license, passport, or state ID. In addition, the Photo ID office can make a Faculty/Staff ID card ONLY after the employee's department has entered the appointment information and the proper authorization has been established in the database. Generally it takes one evening for this information to get updated in the Photo ID Search program. For more information on obtaining a UW ID card please call 262-3258. |
