Metro 31-Day Passes are available to eligible low-income riders for $28.

Passes are now available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis on the 1st and 15th days of each month. Supplies are limited on both dates, so riders are encouraged to purchase their passes on or as close to these available dates as possible.


To be eligible to purchase a low income pass, riders must do ONE of the following:

  • Fill out a self-certification form that income is at or below 150% of national poverty guideline. A 6-month Low Income Pass eligibility card will be issued.
  • Show Low Income Pass eligibility card at time of purchase.
  • Show their QUEST card at time of purchase.

Additional Purchase Information
  • Purchases are limited to one pass per person, per month.
  • Passes must be purchased in-person.
  • Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Metro Transit's Administration Office is Closed Remodel

Metro's Administration Office (1245 E. Washington Ave.) is currently under construction. During this time, Metro is selling all tickets including low-income passes, at the City Treasurer's Office. The same number of passes will be sold on the first and the 15th of each month.

  • Metro 31-Day Passes are the only passes available at the low-income rate.

How to Use
  • Insert pass into farebox "card reader"
  • Activation date and time along with expiration date and time will be printed on pass.
  • Slide through the magnetic "pass reader" when boarding.
  • Do Not Laminate

Starts at 3:00 p.m.

Buses follow the Capitol Loop from 3:00 p.m. through the end of service due to Concerts on the Square.
