Proposed August Service Adjustments
Wednesday, April 10; 6:00 PM
215 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
Room 260 (Madison Municipal Building)
On Wednesday, April 10, Metro Transit and the City of Madison Transit and Parking Commission will hold a public hearing at 6 PM to discuss service changes proposed to go into effect in August.
Route 34 provides a link between the ETP and Madison College’s east campus on Wright Street north of East Washington Avenue. The route is proposed to have a reduction in the number of trips during peak periods—basically, any trip leaving the ETP at :45 on-the-hour. Trips leaving the ETP at :15 on-the-hour will remain as they are coordinated with the class schedule at Madison College and Route 16. The route was originally designed for this type of hourly service
Interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing to give feedback. Consideration will be given to views and comments expressed at the public hearing as well as to all written comments received.
