Proposed Service Adjustments

On Thursday, April 11, Metro Transit and the City of Fitchburg Transit and Transportation Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:30 PM to discuss potential service changes that specifically affect the City of Fitchburg, including possible 2014 service changes to Routes 44 and 48.
Discussion will also include possible adjustments to Routes 16, 18, 40, 44, and 47.
Interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing to give feedback. Consideration will be given to views and comments expressed at the public hearing as well as to all written comments received.

|Schedule adjustment to better coordinate service with Routes 5 and 40 at the South Transfer Point, and with Route 31 at the East Transfer Point, during nights and weekends.|
|All buses travel via Allied Dr. and Chalet Gardens between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Service eliminated on Crescent and Red Arrow. “Via Raymond” buses will not serve the “Coho Loop” until 7:00 PM on weeknights (replaced by route 40 “via Coho” service).|
|“Via Coho and Greenway” route to operate in place of service on route 18. Trips will alternate with existing route 40 until 7:00 PM. This via will travel via Todd Dr, Coho, and Greenway. Weeknight schedule revised to better coordinate with routes 5 and 16.|
|Routes 44 and 47||No change in routing; Route 44 5:56 AM trip elimination and Route 47 5:51 AM trip elimination.|
