Profile, Statistics and Indicators
Neighborhood Description: The Sheridan Triangle Neighborhood is defined by the boundaries of MacPherson St., Sheridan Dr., Steensland Dr., and Sherman Avenue. Situated on the north side of Madison, between Maple Bluff and Warner Park, this hidden gem of a neighborhood is known for its friendly residents and welcoming atmosphere. Situated around the Sheridan Triangle Park (and bordered by Brentwood Park to the north), this neighborhood boasts of pleasant open spaces, easy access to downtown and the university, bus lines, shopping, and more. Sheridan Triangle Neighborhood is made up largely of single-family homes located on small lots, most often shaded by beautiful mature trees. The yards are well maintained and often have attractive garden areas in front and back yards. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. We are just a 10-15 minute walk from Lake Mendota, Warner Park (Warner Park Recreation Center and Madison Mallard games), North Gate Shopping Center and restaurants. A bus stop on North Sherman Avenue and Lakeview Library at North Towne Center serve the neighborhood. Sheridan Triangle is a "walking neighborhood" and has easy access to several bike paths as well. Neighbors enjoy our Sheridan Triangle Park and also the Brentwood Park which borders the neighborhood to the north.
