2008 Mayor's Neighborhood Roundtable

Madison, WI - March 5, 2008. Neighborhood leaders will learn about development financing, sustainable urban design, and engaging residents in neighborhood development and traffic projects at the 2008 Mayor's Neighborhood Roundtable to be held on March 8, 2008 at CUNA Mutual Group Training Center. The general session will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a welcoming message from Mayor Dave Cieslewicz. Five workshops and three demonstration projects will be offered during the one-half day event. The free event is sponsored by the City of Madison, Madison Gas and Electric, and CUNA Mutual Group

WHERE: CUNA Mutual Group Training Center, 5910 Mineral Point Road

WHO: Neighborhood Associations and interested citizens throughout City of Madison

WHY: To help citizens more efficiently utilize government services, learn about successful projects undertaken by other neighborhood groups, and to empower neighborhood leaders to make a difference in our community.
