Madison Parks pleased to announce that the Golf Madison Parks has joined forces with The First Tee® of South Central Wisconsin to host the chapter's home site at Monona Golf Course and to make affordable access to golf available to all area youth!
Monona Golf Course and The First Tee of South Central Wisconsin offer youth golf programs for ALL children ages six and older. The TARGET program provides initial exposure to those curious about the game. The Two-, Five- or Nine-hole leagues provide lesson and playing opportunities for the just past beginner to intermediate and above players.
New for 2012, our Wednesday program emphasizes healthy habits and golf fitness training for the more experienced, tournament ready player. In addition to the physical skills learned and healthy habits golf can provide, The First Tee of South Central reinforces important life skills inherent to the game that carry over to the other aspects in life.
Outside of leagues, our participants enjoy benefits such as reduced green fees to all four City of Madison golf courses and opportunities for free instruction on participant "Fun Days."
Scholarship opportunities are available to financially eligible participants as well for all children of active military. Please visit www.thefirstteescw.org or email mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
What about the other Golf Madison Parks courses? Stay tuned for more information on other course openings later this week!
