Shortly before midnight, the night of July 5, someone used fire to destroy the playground equipment at Sauk Height Park, on Bear Claw Way. The playground and safety surface were a complete loss. While fortunately there were no injuries at the scene, the fire certainly left a scar in the neighborhood.
Within 5 weeks time, Madison Parks was able to get this equipment replaced.
The Sauk Heights Park neighbors, Mayor Dave, Alder Skidmore, Kevin Briski, Madison Parks Superintendent will be attending a park ‘Re-dedication' tonight to celebrate the park and the neighborhood.
