Operations Set for Wednesday and Thursday More Possible for Friday

The Streets Division will be conducting snow removal operations on several streets this week. Snow removal operations will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and continue as late as 2 p.m. These operations will cause delays for traffic and motorists are urged to find alternate routes.

"We need to clear snow in order to widen the traffic lanes and free up parking spaces," George Dreckmann of the Streets Division said. "This operation involves many vehicles and will tie up traffic."

The snow removal schedule is as follows.

Wednesday January 21st

Atwood Av. from Dunning to Maple
Maple from Atwood to Center
N. Orchard from Dayton to Regent
Erin from S. Mills to S. Orchard
S. Orchard from Wingra to Drake
N. Hamilton from N. Butler to N. Webster
Haywood from N. Wingra to S. Park

Thursday January 22nd

Monroe St. from Knickerbocker to Regent

Friday January 23rd
