Due to unsuitable weather, the work JH Findorff had planned for Monday, March 3rd, has been postponed until Tuesday, March 4th.
The work will entail JH Findorff and their subcontractors pouring a large volume of concrete for the Ovation project adjacent to Madison Fire Station #1.
As a result, through-traffic will be closed on the 200 block of North Henry Street between West Johnson Street and West Dayton Street between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
During this operation, traffic on the 300 block of West Johnson Street will be down to one lane between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The bike lane will remain open.
Parking on the 100 block of North Broom Street will be restricted as this area will be utilized by the contractor for staging.
Access to residences and the Overture Center Parking Garage on the 300 block of West Dayton Street will be maintained at all times.
Motorists and bicyclists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays during this closure.
