Closure of N. Orchard Street, Spring Street and Capital Court

Beginning Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 7:00 am, N. Orchard Street (between Regent Street and West Dayton Street), Spring Street (between North Randall Avenue and Charter Street) and Capital Court will be closed to through traffic for construction.

North Orchard Street at Regent Street will be closed. Access to North Orchard Street will be provided, for local residents only, from Regent Street, during construction.

The Southwest Bike Path will remain open at this time.

The project consists of the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street lighting, replacement of concrete curb and gutter, drive aprons and asphalt pavement. Sidewalk will be replaced as needed, to repair any damaged sections and to install sanitary sewer laterals. Construction is expected to continue for approximately three months.
