Fire & EMS Crews Respond to Crash, Transport 5 Patients

City of Madison firefighters and paramedics responded to a car crash on Charmany Drive at 6:00 p.m. this evening. When Ladder 2 arrived on scene, they found a total of five people injured. Additional resources were immediately called to the scene to treat and transport the injured.

Five paramedic ambulances responded to the scene including two units from Middleton EMS. Firefighter/EMTs on Ladder 2, Engine 7 and Engine 9 assisted the paramedics with the medical treatment and transport to the hospital.

Four of the patients were transported to the UW Hospital Trauma Center and one to Meriter Hospital.
