Monroe Street Library Closing Today Due to Loss of Air Conditioning

The Monroe Street Library located at 1705 Monroe Street will close at 4:30 pm on Thursday, July 5, due to loss of air conditioning.

The library will announce a reopening time for the Monroe Street and Sequoya Libraries for Friday, July 6, on the City of Madison news release system, as well as its own web site, Facebook and Twitter.

Library items due today may be returned in the library's book drop or to any other area public library. Customers are encouraged to call an open library to renew items or with other library-related questions.
