Free Metro Rides to City of Madison Cooling Center at Monona Terrace
Metro is again offering FREE rides on both fixed-route and paratransit vehicles to people traveling to/from the City of Madison cooling center at the Monona Terrace.
Passengers are asked to inform their driver that they are traveling to/from a cooling center in order to receive the free ride.
Paratransit passengers should inform their customer service representative when booking a paratransit rides that they are traveling to/from a cooling center.
Free rides will last through noon on Wednesday, July 18.
Free rides are only available to cooling centers set up by the City of Madison. Free rides are not available to destinations that are not officially designated by the City of Madison.
