Open House Announced for City Bassett Small Cap TIF Loan Program

Madison - Mayor Dave Cieslewicz and Ald. Mike Verveer recently announced a new acquisition and rehabilitation loan program to assist homebuyers interested in living downtown. The new program is called the Bassett Small Cap TIF Loan Program. This program is a forgivable loan program for up to $60,000. For more information, go to www.cityofmadison.com/homeloans .
To showcase examples of the properties currently available in the Bassett Neighborhood that may be eligible to use this loan program, the City of Madison Department of Planning & Community & Economic Development and Capitol Neighborhoods Inc. are hosting three open houses on Thursday, January 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The open houses are 323 W. Wilson Street, 325 W. Wilson Street, and 454-456 W. Doty Street. City staff and representatives from Capitol Neighborhoods will be available to answer any questions you may have.
