Expected Metro Delays on Routes 6 & 25 on Monday due to E. Washington Construction

Due to East Washington Ave. construction, Route 6 and 25 may experience delays starting Monday, February 9. Significant delays are possible until later in the week as traffic adjusts to alternate routes around the construction zone. Riders traveling towards the downtown area (from East Towne/Hayes/MATC) are encouraged to plan ahead and take an earlier trip during the first part of the week. Eastbound travel (from the downtown area towards East Towne) is not expected to be as severely impacted. Staff will monitor bus delays and make adjustments as necessary. Watch for additional information on upcoming detours to Routes 17 and 20 as construction progresses.
