Closure Extension: Pleasant View Road-Elderberry Road

The Elderberry Sanitary Sewer Extension project started construction on Monday, October 5, 2009. The project includes the installation of a new sanitary sewer main. The Pleasant View Road and Elderberry Road intersection has been closed to all traffic since October 5, and was originally scheduled to be re-opened by October 16. However, the road closure will be extended to October 20 due to wet weather and being unable to place asphalt. There will be additional lane closures on Pleasant View Road during non-peak traffic hours after October 20, 2009. Two-way traffic will be maintained by using flaggers during this time period. Elderberry Road will remain closed at Pleasant View Road. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
