Metro Transit Service Changes Go Into Effect Sunday, August 23

Passengers are encouraged to check their Metro Transit trips. Changes to many routes go into effect on Sunday, August 23.

Service Change Details:

ROUTE 6: Portage/Hayes Loop Change Heading to East Towne Mall. Route has shifted from using Zeir Rd. and East Towne Blvd. to using E. Washington Ave. to Independence Ln. Updated Schedule

ROUTE 10: West end of route will expand to serve UW Health-Digestive Clinic.Service along Division, Rutledge and Spaight streets eliminated. Updated Schedule

ROUTE 12: Service loop north of W. Broadway and west of Lake Point Dr. (operating on Fayette Ave., Waunona Way, and Frazier Ave.) will be eliminated. Updated Schedule

ROUTE 25: Trips starting and ending at East Towne Mall as well as service loop in the American Center will be eliminated. This service is available on Route 26. Updated Schedule

ROUTE 59: Some service moved to Spoke and Sprocket streets to provide direct service to and from the Allied Drive/Dunn’s Marsh neighborhoods and Star Cinema. Updated Schedule

Trip and schedule adjustments will also be made to Routes 2, 4, 15, 26, 28, 30, 33, 35, 37, 47.
