Engine 8 Returns to Ziegler Rd. for Outside Fire

For the second time in four days, Engine 8 was dispatched to the 700 block of Ziegler Rd. for a report of smoke coming from the backyard.
 
Firefighters arrived to find the occupant burning leaves and wood. The crew informed him that open burning was not permitted in the city and extinguished the fire.
 
In both cases, the individual was not cited for the unauthorized burning, and a language barrier may be a factor in the repeated incidents.
