Residential Gas Leak on Mammoth Trail

Ladder 7 was called for a smell of natural gas near a residence on Mammoth Trail. We arrived to find the owners evacuated and waiting in the neighbors' front yard. The owner states he can hear gas "hissing" from the gas meter. Ladder 7's crew investigated and found the leak to be coming from the meter coupling. They shut off the gas and waited for MG&E to arrive. No further issues.
