Arcing Wires Cause Small Fire In Tree

Firefighters from Engine 9, responded to arcing power lines that were weighted down by heavy snow.

The arcing wires which were 30 feet up in a tree, caused a small fire to the branches

By the time firefighters arrived, the fire had self extinguished.

MG&E was notified of the downed wires.
