Man Uninjured After Car Ahead Of Him Knocks Down Light Pole

Firefighters and paramedics responded from Fire Station 7 to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Verona Road and Atticus Way.
 
Upon arrival, a vehicle was found in the intersection with a light pole on its hood and windshield. The driver told responders he was driving along when the vehicle in front of him struck the light pole in drove away. The pole then fell on his vehicle.
 
The driver denied any injuries and wished not to be evaluated by paramedics. The back window of the vehicle was shattered; however, the windshield was still intact and there was no intrusion into the passenger compartment by the light pole.
 
Law enforcement remained on scene with the driver. The vehicle that struck the pole was not on scene and was not located.
