Ice Rink and Ski Trail Update

Ice Rinks - There are five outdoor ice rinks open today, but all rinks have some restrictions. See below. Tenney Park, Mon-Fri 4:00p.m.-9:30p.m., skate rental, concessions, warming shelter, lights. The hockey rink is not open and only part of the lagoon is safe for skating. Watch for barricades. Vilas Park, Mon-Fri, 4:00p.m.-9:30p.m., skate rental, concessions, warming shelter, lights. The lagoon is NOT safe for skating, but the land hockey rink and the other small skating land rink is open for skating. Elver Park, Mon-Fri, 4:00p.m.-9:30p.m., skate rental, concessions, warming shelter, lights. The hockey rink is open as well as the area for general public skating. Olbrich Park (next to Botanical Gardens), Mon-Fri, 4:00p.m.-8:45p.m., no skate rental, hockey rink is not open, but there is a warming shelter and lights. Westmorland Park, Mon-Fri, 4:00p.m.-8:45p.m., no skate rental, but there is a warming shelter and lights. Ski Trails - All ski trails have been groomed and the tracks set. Those trails are located at: Elver Park, Odana Golf Course, Monona Golf Course, Turville Woods, Owen Conservation Park, So. Cherokee Marsh. For locations, see website. The conditions are excellent for skate skiing at Elver Park and Odana Golf Course. Elver Park has ski rental and the lights will be on.
