New Multi Space Parking Meters Introduced to Downtown

The City of Madison Parking Utility and Metric Meters have installed multi-space meters in several locations in the downtown area. These meters provide the option to use a credit card as well as coins.

The first two multi-space meters were put in service on Wednesday September 15, 2010 at the Buckeye Lot. Eventually a majority of the single-pole meters in the central business district will be replaced by multi space machines.
