Madison Parks Family Hoedown

What is the Family Hoedown?

Madison Parks is excited to host the Family Hoedown for the first time on Saturday, November 10 from 6 – 8pm at the Olin Park Pavilion. Come enjoy a night a fun, excitement and dancing complete with music and a square dance caller! There will also be free hayrides and refreshments. Don’t miss out on this exciting event great for families and square dancers of all ages! You don’t have to be a pro to join us, people of all abilities are welcome.

Tickets

Tickets are $7.50 per person or $25 for a group or family of 4 or more. Included in your ticket price are dancing, music, square dance caller, lessons, cider, a dessert item, and a hay ride. Tickets will be available October 1 through Monday, November 5. You can purchase tickets in person at the Warner Park Community and Recreation Center or by phone by contacting (608) 245-3690. If you miss the deadline and still want to come, please call ahead the day of the event to make sure there are still tickets available. Space is limited so be sure to buy tickets early. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card.

Location and Parking

The Family Hoedown will take place at the Olin Park Pavilion located at 1156 Olin-Turville Court, Madison WI 53713. Parking will only be available in the Olin-Turville Parking lot off of Olin Avenue, as the Festival of Lights is taking place during the time of this event. A free hay wagon shuttle will be provided for guests to get to and from the pavilion. If you choose not to use the hay wagon shuttle, you are welcome to walk up the hill to the Pavilion.

Attire

Families and participants are encouraged to come dressed in their best western or festive attire!
