ABOUT ELVER PARK:
The largest of all Madison Community Parks, Elver Park spans an impressive 227 acres in the southwest corner of the city.  Here, you find a great breadth of recreational features offered throughout the year.  During the summer, the disc golf course becomes the park's most unique feature, but the softball diamonds, soccer fields, and reservable shelters are all very popular and delightful.  Winter enthusiasts enjoy the ice-skating and hockey rinks, sledding hill, and particularly the lighted cross-country ski trials.  Whether it is an intense game of disc golf with friends or a reflective walk through woods and open spaces, you can always find something worthwhile at Elver Park.
FEATURES:

*The softball diamonds and soccer fields are frequently reserved by various recreational organizations.  To check on availability and to reserve, please call 266-4711.

The softball diamonds will be unavailable beginning in mid-September due to annual renovation.  They will be re-opened in the spring.

Recycling:  Madison Parks Department encourages recycling away from home.  In the parks, please take home the recyclable material you bring to the park.
