Featuring the Kids to Kids Garage Sale and the Big Rig Gig

Saturday, September 13, 9a.m. – noon at Warner Park
Trucks and Treasures is a popular event that combines two of Madison’s favorite kid-friendly events, the Big Rig Gig and the Kids to Kids Garage Sale, to create a fun experience for the whole family. The fall event will be held at Warner Park on Saturday, September 13th from 9:00am – noon. Admission to Trucks and Treasures is free. Booth registration to sell at the Kids to Kids Garage is $15. Parking is also free and available on site, although it may be limited.
Trucks and Treasures provides a wonderful opportunity for families to spend the day together exploring the big trucks,” said Laura Whitmore, Madison Parks Marketing and Communications Coordinator. “Additionally, this event gives enterprising kids the opportunity to clean out their closets and earn some back-to-school money.”
TRUCKS: The Big Rig Gig is a showcase of Madison’s premiere public services, employees, and equipment. Vehicles participating in the event include a fire engine, police car, construction equipment, dump trucks, and more from the Madison Fire Department, Madison Police Department, Madison Metro, Madison Water Utility, Madison Streets Division and the Madison Parks Division. Kids are welcome to get up close and explore the big rigs on display at this exciting event!
TREASURES: At the Kids to Kids Garage Sale, youth can reserve a booth to sell their gently used treasures to other kids. Kids and families may sell items they are no longer using such as toys, books, games, bikes, dress-up attire, DVDs, and more! There are approximately 60 booths available for this event. To reserve a booth for the Kids to Kids Garage Sale, fill out the registration form on our website. Booths are $15 each and the fall registration deadline is Friday, September 5th. Don’t miss this opportunity to sell your items and find great bargains!
