Saturday, October 18, 9:00- 11:30am, Aldo Leopold Nature Center, 330 Femrite Dr, Monona

Join the land stewards at Aldo Leopold Nature Center, adjacent to Edna Taylor Conservation Park for a morning of prairie, marsh, and woodland restoration. For inquiries about this volunteer opportunity call 608-221-0404, or email facilities@naturenet.com for more information.

Saturday, October 18, 9am-noon, Intersection of Yahara River Parkway Path & E. Main Street

Join the Friends of the Yahara River Parkway in landscape restoration. The FYRP provides gloves, tools and refreshments.

Saturday, October 18, 10am-noon, 3902 Regent Street

Join the Friends of Hoyt Park for Buckthorn Busting and other invasive species removal.  Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle and gloves.

Saturday, October 25 , 9:30-11:30am, Woodlawn trail head, 802 Femrite Dr.

Join the Friends of Edna Taylor Conservation Park for Burdock digging. Bring a sharp, sturdy shovel if possible. Depending on the weather.

Saturday, November 1, 9am-noon, John Wall Family Pavilion, Tenney Park, 402 N. Thornton Avenue/1414 E. Johnson Ave

Join the Friends of the Yahara River Parkway in the removal of invasives to promote growth of native species. The FYRP provides gloves, tools and refreshments.   

Saturday, November 8, 10am-noon, Brittingham Park, 701 West Brittingham Place

Volunteers will assist the Friends of Monona Bay pick up trash and debris along the Monona Bay shoreline and in the park.                                                                                                                                   

Saturday, November 15, 10am-noon, 3902 Regent Street

Join the Friends of Hoyt Park for Prairie Planting. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle and gloves.
