Goodman Pool Swim Team - Goodman Pool Sharks

The Goodman Pool is excited to partner with the McFarland Spartan Sharks to offer a swim team at Goodman Pool. This competitive swim team is open to the youth of Madison, 6 years and older, who have had previous swim lessons and are comfortable swimming at least 2 lengths of the pool.

The team aspires to create an environment where the swimmers enjoy the experience of competitive swimming through improvement of their strokes and racing techniques, improved personal race times, appreciation of team friendships and team spirit. We offer excellent coaching, daily practices at the Goodman pool and competitive swim meets throughout the season.

Swim Team Dates: June 9 - July 18

Practice Dates :

Week 1, June 9-13, Monday - Friday, 3:30-4:30p.m.
Weeks 2-6, June 16- July 18, Monday-Friday, 9:00a.m.-10:00a.m.

Age Groups:

Ages 12 and Under

Ages 12 and Over (or 12 and over with no swim team experience)

Cost for summer: $150

Scholarships available

Parents Meeting: A mandatory parent’s meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 28 at 6:30 at the Goodman Pool to cover material in the Parent’s Handbook relating to: team responsibilities, swim team practices, swim meets and to answer questions.
