Rennebohm Park Community Garden Expansion and Path Realignment

Last Updated: 08/16/2018

The The City of Madison Parks Division completed a series of improvements to Rennebohm Park in 2018.

The community garden area underwent an expansion to accommodate new plots.  The existing community gardens on site remain and a new area was added.  The garden fencing will be expanded to include the new area and additional irrigation main will be installed to provide water to the new plots.

The existing softball backstop on site was removed and relocated to the east side of the play field on site.

Two existing small trees on site were relocated outside the garden expansion area by Parks staff.

The bike and pedestrian path through the park was shifted to a slightly different alignment to accommodate the new garden area.  The old path was removed and reinstalled approx 100' to the south.

All construction is now complete except for the fencing and irrigation expansion.  This is expected to be completed by November, 2018.
