Over 150 trees have been planted at Tenny Park in the spring of 2016 to replace ash trees that were removed in 2015.  Species of trees were selected based on the original historic landscape plans of O.C. Simonds and John Nolen who designed the original plans for Tenney Park in the early 1900's. Tenney Park is a City of Madison Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places.
