The
Warner Park Community Recreation Center, which
opened in 1999, has become a popular choice for
weddings, company banquets, retirement parties or
any gathering.
The stunning 2700 sq. ft. Community Room has
two walls of windows, overlooking the beautiful
Warner Park and Lagoon.
The
Community Room has a seating capacity of 160 people
when set with round tables and a capacity of 200
when set with chairs in rows.
The room can be divided into smaller sections
depending on the size of the event.
Rental
Fees
In keeping
with the mission of the WPCRC and in order to not be
exclusionary to any of the local user groups, the
rooms are available at varying rates (Groups I, II
and III). For

A
$75 security deposit is required to hold the
facility for the requested date and time.
Wedding
receptions and other large events require a $250
security deposit. The security deposit is non-refundable in
case of cancellation.
WPCRC reserves the right to apply all or a
portion of the security deposit to the cost of
repairing damages to the facility, cleaning the
facility or changes in arrangements made by lessee.
If there are no damages or changes in
arrangements, the entire security deposit will be
returned to lessee after the event.
- Half
Days
are considered 4 hours or less
and must begin and end between the hours of 8
a.m. and 4 p.m.
- Full
Days
are from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Mon- Sat, and Sunday
from noon - 6 p.m.
- Evenings
are from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. and can be extended until 11
p.m.; additional fees apply after 10 p.m.

anytime after January 1 of the current year.

Catering
There
is an extensive list of approved caterers from which
the renter can choose. Non-alcoholic beverages and
food service may be arranged with the approved
caterer of your choice. Blue Plate Catering holds
the liquor license for the WPCRC and all alcoholic
beverage service must be contracted through Blue
Plate Catering.
Reservations

will take reservations for the following year anytime after January 1 of the
current year. To reserve a date and
time, please call 245-3694.
Outdoor
Ceremonies Adjacent to WPCRC
There
is no rental fee for a wedding ceremony held in the park area adjacent to the
WPCRC. Chairs are not provided by
the WPCRC and must be rented through an outside source.
If the WPCRC is requested as a back-up facility in case of inclement
weather, the usual reservation policies and fees will apply.
Rental Guidelines for WPCRC
1.
Late Reservations
In
the case of late reservations, checks will not be accepted.
Payment must be made by cash or credit card.
2.
Smoking
Smoking
is not permitted in any part of the Community Center at any time.

Kitchen
The
use of the kitchen is available to WPCRC approved caterers only.
Kitchen access is not permitted for groups that provide their
own food.
4.
Clean-up
Groups
providing their own food or having drop-off food service from an approved
caterer will be responsible for the complete clean-up of all areas utilized,
including removal of tablecloths and all other personal equipment.
The premises must be left in the same condition in which the group found
them. This includes the following: all tables and chairs must be wiped off and
clean; all disposables must be placed in heavy
duty garbage bags supplied by the group and set near the recyclable storage
area in the kitchen; recyclables must be placed in recyclable containers only;
all cardboard boxes must be broken down, bundled and placed in the recycling
area. Failure to do so will result
in forfeiture of the security deposit.
5.
Storage
The
storage of any equipment or other accessory items belonging to the users is not
permitted. WPCRC is not
responsible for any equipment or other accessory items left at the Community
Center at any time.
6.
Decorations
The
use of nails, tape, tacks or the like to fasten decorations or other materials
to walls, doors or from the ceiling is prohibited.
GLITTER, RICE, BIRD SEED, CONFETTI AND THE LIKE CANNOT BE THROWN OR USED
AS TABLE TOP DECORATIONS. HELIUM
BALLOONS ARE NOT PERMITTED.
7.
Candles
Candles
other than votives are not allowed
8.
Responsibility
Lessee
shall be responsible for the behavior of any and all event attendees. A responsible person or persons from Lessee's group shall
be present at the event at all times. Lessee
agrees that its representatives shall familiarize themselves with and abide by
Park Division rules and regulations as well as specific Lessor facility rules.
9.
Rehearsal Time
Rehearsal
time is not included in the original rental fee. If a wedding party wants rehearsal time, the community rooms
may be rented for 1 or more hours the day before the wedding @$50 per hour if
there is time available.

It
is possible to also have an outdoor wedding with a tent according to WPCRC
policy and a tent permit fee. Or,
a wedding can be held outside in the park without a tent on a first
come-first serve basis and no fee is charged.
Chairs are the responsibility of the lessee.
