DRAFT Old University Avenue Design & Development Guidelines (October 2007)
In 2007, the Regent Neighborhood Association received a city-funded grant to hire a planning consulting firm to prepare design guidelines for the Old University Avenue Corridor.  Working with a consultant, a preliminary plan was prepared which focused on design guidelines for the corridor. During the final stages of putting the Plan together, it was determined that more neighborhood-based discussion was necessary to ensure the vision, value, and design for the corridor was supported by Regent Neighborhood and the business community.  The draft plan was never introduced to the Madison Common Council for adoption.

Campus Master Plan (2005)
The 2005 Campus Master Plan guides campus development for the next 20 years and beyond.  The Plan highlights future changes on the West, Central, and East ends of campus.  Check out the master plan, especially the West Campus area that lies directly north of the UAC study area. 

University Avenue-Highland Avenue Commercial District Planning Study (August 1983)
A preliminary study to assess the impact of the proposed motel development at Old University-Highland commercial district.  Part of the study identified potential public improvements which could assist in revitalization efforts of the area.  The study was never introduced to the Madison Common Council for adoption.

Engineering specification for the reconstruction of a portion of University Avenue. Of historical interest is the listing of existing businesses (pg 13-15).
