  • The second community-wide meeting took place on February 6, 2014. Over 100+ residents attended the meeting to provide input on the draft plan recommendations.
  • The City-Consultant Team, The City-Consultant Team, in conjunction with the University Hill Farms Ad Hoc Steering Committee, has conducted the following to gather input from the community:Two Community Wide Open Houses (September 2013 and February 2014); Community Survey ; Business Survey; Sheboygan Avenue Bus Stop Survey; Focus Groups with Businesses, Center of Worship/Service Providers, Major Multifamily Residential Property Owners , Seniors, Van Hise, Hamilton, Glenn Stephens School Administrators , and West Senior Center and conducted Exit interview with homeowners and renters that recently moved out of the neighborhood.
  • The first community-wide meeting took place on September 18, 2013. Over 80+ residents attended the meeting to provide input to the district alders, city staff, and UHF steering committee members.
  • Residents are encouraged to complete a neighborhood survey. The survey is open until August 1, 2013. Access the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/UHFN
  • The first community-wide open house has been scheduled for September 18, 2013 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 326 South Segoe Road starting at 7:00 pm. The City-Consultant Team presented results of the community/business survey and other input gathered through focus groups and interviews.  In addition, community members identified and provided input on neighborhood issues, opportunities, and desires.
  • Urban Assets, LLC and Cuningham Group have been hired to provide consultant services to the steering committee. The City-Consultant Team will work with the steering committee to identify neighborhood assets and issues, formulate strategies, and devise plan recommendations.
  • The University Hill Farms Ad Hoc Steering Committee selected to meet the fourth Thursday of every month, 7:00 pm, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 326 South Segoe Road throughout 2013. Check the project website to confirm meeting dates at http://www.cityofmadison.com/planning/UniversityHillFarmsPlan/. All meetings are open to the public.
  • The University Hill Farms Ad Hoc Steering Committee has been appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Common Council. A nine-member steering committee, representative of the area, will guide the planning process.
