MPD intern Katelyn Gamache organized with the help of North District officers an event called Earth Day on Kipling, which took place on August 27th. Kipling Dr. residents' adults and children helped pick up trash pull weeds and plants trees and flower at two of the apartment buildings on Kipling Dr. The children also paint their own small flower pot and planted a small flower to take home. It was a beautiful day and the children helped make their neighborhood better. We appreciate the donations from Jungs flower center and the north side True Value Hardware store for this event..
