The Madison Police Records Section, on request, will perform Records Checks for Landlords on prospective tenants using the parameters of Madison Equal Opportunities Ordinance 3.23.

All requests should be submitted on the Landlord/Tenant Records Check Form which is available at the Records Counter of the Madison Police Department, City-County Building, 211 S. Carroll St., Madison, WI, and should include the prospective tenant's Name, Current Address, Race, Sex, and Date of Birth.  If this complete information is not provided, a search of the database will not be possible.  The cost of this service is $8.00 per name submitted.  Requests are handled as they are received, and results will be mailed as soon as possible.
