A concerned citizen, a 54-year old Madison woman, told two attackers to "knock it off" and walked toward them as they punched and kicked a man who was down on the ground in the 6400 block if Bridge Rd. Monday afternoon. Her actions caused the criminals to flee. The victim told police he is acquainted with the suspects and that they had accused him of owing them money.
